new terror bird lp on adagio830. terror bird are a canadian group based on some fascinating contradictions and revolving around the powerful, affecting voice of nikki never. emerging with bedroom-forged cassettes on night people records, never added synth players and drummers as she went on, via releases on la station radar and night school, finally arriving at this point – a harder-hitting synth-goth masterpiece in ‘secret rituals.’ gone are the reservations and shyness of the straight-to-4 track songs of old and in their place is a forceful, immediate collection of songs that showcase never’s precise and emotive voice. tracks like ‘thrill killer’ are 80s goth pop songs re-imagined for the 21st century underground, insistent and propulsive, ‘secret rituals’ is a lush, dark gem and tracks like ‘if we escape’ are heroic, doomed-youth anthems for souls running from an impending doom, overfull but still pumping. the production is clearer than before, the passion intensified. killer lp.

We started taking pre orders for the upcoming terror bird lp – the pre order version comes on PURPLE vinyl and is ltd to 100 copies. The normal version will be on black

This is the 2nd full length by terror bird from vancouver, Canada. The records contains also Terror Bird‘s “She Kissed Me (and I Fell Ill)” originally which appeared on sold out Waiting For Nothing 7″ inch that was released by London’s Verulamium Records roughly a year ago, only a couple of weeks after Night-People & adagio830 released the Vancouver outfit’s debut full-length Human Culture.

Terror Bird’s sophomore record Secret Rituals 9 perfect dark pop songs and if you dig Zola jesus (we know its a lame comparison) – you will love this new album.

another post. The Trainwreck “… of concrete..” LP´s got repressed in a ltd run of 200 copies to support Trainwreck on their current european tour. I hope you all grabbed your copy – cause they turned out great. The repress comes w/ handcrafted and silk screened covers. They look wonderful!

We should have more in stock soon when the band returns from tour.

we are aware that this took a while. But the Indian Summer 12″ is finally available and turned out GREAT. Benni Black Ink did an awesome job again w/ the silk screening of the B-side. As many asked – this 12″ contains the songs of the Indian Summer 7″ just slightly remastered for a better sound. This just an awesome record and a classic that should be available to everyone all the time. You can order it from us at bisaufsmesser.com/store and to celebrate the whole thing we also printed some Indian Summer T-shirts w/ the classic design on white shirts. Available also at the store.
