Hi, we got the KIDS OF ZOO Lps today fresh from the presses. .. Well – this is what we think. A lot of people recognized that a lof of great bands came from Oz in the last couple years and gave us tons of great songs to fill out our daily lifes. Kids Of Zoo from Melbourne are a three piece that formed in mid-2008, spawned out of the ashes of straight-ahead rock and roll stalwarts The Specimens and cast back into the filth and grime of every nook and cranny of the Melbourne circuit. After some 7″s – their 10 songs debut LP deliever 20 minutes between raw garage punk and 90ies touch & go chicago styled noise rock somewhere between Monorchid, Skull Kontrol or early Rye Coalition meets Part Chimp. Kids of Zoo mission statement is nothing more than create a wall of noise that will melt your face off like that soldier dude at the end of raiders of the Lost Ark!
